Manakin Road Zoning Hearing November 4

The Main Street Homes rezoning hearing is scheduled for Wedneday, November 4.

This zoning case (RZ-2026-00001) requests the change from A-2 (agricultural) to R-1 (rural) to allow 38 single-family detached houses on 123.88 acres. The development would be at 2161 Manakin Road, North of Broad Street

R-1 zoning does not belong in the Rural Enhancement Area, Protect Goochland County from urban sprawl."
